The Corral Store on Highway 20 on the Camas Prairie came to life as the 19th Century became the 20th Century. The town of Corral came into existence in 1891 – five years after Robert L Hicks of the county of Alturas, Idaho Territory sold the entire area to H.F. Grayson County Virginia for $600. The Corral Store operated into the 1980’s.
